If you take note of who actually performs the signs and actions which bring about the plagues in each instance you will see that it is initially Aaron who performs the actions in the case of the staff becoming a serpent and in the first three plagues. God seems to do the fourth and fifth plague of his own accord, and then Moses performs actions to bring about the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth plague. What should we make of this? Why might Moses not get directly involved until later?
Even in the midst of judgment against the nation of Egypt how does God show his willingness to accept and protect Egyptians who will fear him? (9:19-21)

By what means do you think the Egyptian Magicians were able to match the sign of the staff turning into a serpent and also the first two plagues? How might it have been possible for them to do this?

None of us have seen God act on the same scale he did during the 10 plagues. Nonetheless, God is alway acting on behalf of his people. Share about a time where God delivered you out of your troubles in an unexpected way.
